Why don't you ship the products right away?
We usually don't hold stock, so your item goes into production only after an order has been made.
That way, you will receive a piece that has been crafted specially for you. It's a win-win situation in our opinion.
What is the production time?
The usual production time varies from 2 to 5 weeks. It takes time to complete the full cycle - from a bit of clay to a fine piece.
Where are your glazes from?
All our glazes are unique ODAKA recipes, making each and every piece truly one of a kind. We do our best to be accurate and represent the variety of each glaze in our photography, but please bare in mind that due to our products' handmade nature, slight differences can be expected.
Rest assured, our glazes do not contain lead and are completely food safe.
What about sustainability?
We believe that sustainability is important, and we are committed to protect the environment by minimizing any damages during our practices. We try to keep our packages as plastic free as possible and most of our products are shipped in recycled paper & carton packaging.
What is the best way to clean your ceramics?
Our ceramic products can be gently cleaned by hand using hot water and soap.
Dirt, stains, and metal marks from silverware (particularly on our matte and semi-matte glazes) can be removed with Bar Keeper’s Friend, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, or just gently rub some baking soda mixed with a bit of warm water.
Can I use your ceramics in my dishwasher or oven?
Our ceramics are microwave, dishwasher and oven proof, but it is always advised to use our handcrafted pieces gently.
Do you ship globally?
Yes, we ship worldwide (with a few small exceptions). We usually ship using Israel Postal Services, or DHL (if express shipping is chosen). Upon shipping, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and other relevant details.
Are duties and taxes included in the order total?
International orders may be subject to import fees. Customers are responsible for any customs & duties that might be charged. Duties and taxes vary from country to country so please check your local regulations for more information.
What is your return or exchange policy?
We stand behind the quality of all our products and do our best to capture & showcase each piece's true nature. However, real life touch cannot be replaced. If you are not entirely satisfied with your new piece, please let us know.
If you decide to return the piece, please inform us by email within 7 days of receiving the item, and send the item back within 10 days of receiving the item.
* Please note, refunds will not include the original postage & handling costs, and the return postage costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
The items must be returned in unused condition and carefully packed. Until the goods are received by us in their new & undamaged condition, the responsibility for them remains with you. We advise to send all goods via registered & insured post.
If the item was damaged on arrival, please inform us by email within 7 days of receiving the item, and please include a photo of the damage.
